The short version of how working with us works. Updated October 2026.
The service
CivicFiling prepares the recurring filings listed for your subscription tier and files them where the relevant system allows us to. You remain responsible for decisions the law reserves for your organization, including board adoption, certifications and signatures, and for the accuracy of the information you give us.
Price and billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly at the published price for your tier. There is no setup fee. Founding clients who sign by March 31, 2027 keep their price through December 31, 2029.
Cancelling
Either side may cancel with 30 days' written notice. Work in progress at cancellation is delivered in its current form on request.
Our guarantee
If HUD, USDA or a state returns a filing because of our error, we correct and refile it at no charge.
What's not included
Five-year Consolidated Plans, environmental reviews, financial statements and audits, legal advice, and on-site work.
Confidentiality
We keep your materials confidential and use them only to deliver the service, as described in our data and AI policy.
